Comments
Base model 944s are now all time bargains, with really nice cars available for £3-4000 and some examples down to £1,000. The most sought after model today is the 944S2 and these are still holding their ground at around £5-8,000 depending on condition. The Turbo is something of a specialist purchase and if you need to worry about fuel consumption, this isn’t the car for you. The 250bhp model has incredible performance though.
The best 968 is the fully equipped model (termed just 968) with the Club Sport really only suitable for trackday or weekend driving. The Sport is a good compromise, but the ride is quite firm. 968 prices are holding above those of the 944S2, with the range being £12-10,000, with Cabriolets above that up to £14,000.
