Comments
The new Boxster evolution is 80 per cent new compared to the first
generation. Performance, build quality and general appointment is much
improved and the new model completely revived flagging 986 sales.
In 2006, Porsche harmonised the powerplants across the Boxster and Cayman
models, much to the benefit of the Boxster. Performance of both models is
now sensational. Buy a 2.7 if you need the car for everyday commuting and
the occasional tour. The S is quicker, has a harder ride and is more
fun-loving.
